
Our chef Paul who has been serving food at the Duke of Buckingham for the past 12 years has an art for producing good, old-fashioned home cooking. Come, taste the pride of traditional English cuisine perhaps washed down with one of our real ales or even now the more popular, bottles of wine. We offer a wide range from throughout the world (France, Spain and Australia included) and also do a special wine of the month.
Chef Paul has an extensive knowledge of fish after working in London for 12 years (7 years at Scotts restaurant Mayfair and 5 years as Head Chef at Sheekeys restaurant Leicester Square). Being right next to the Camber Fish Markets he can produce the most mouth-watering dishes.
We always have a good selection of fish and whilst items such as lobster, crab and scallops are not always stocked, depending on availability, they can always be sourced if you let us know in advance.
Our chef makes his own pies, meaty casseroles, stews, lasagnes, curries, grills and English roasts on Sundays and will always try to cater for his guests' tastes.
We have seating for 50 or so diners. In addition there is also a function room seating a further 24 diners which can also be used for private parties - weddings, birthdays and christenings, etc and will accommodate up to 60 guests for buffets.
